2 Arrested In Death Of Marijuana Dispensary Guard

LOS ANGELES Two men were in custody Thursday in connection with the shooting death of an unarmed security guard who was gunned down at a medical marijuana facility during an apparent robbery attempt, police said. 

Noe Campos Gonzalez, 25, of Los Angeles was fatally shot about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of South La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles police Officer April Harding said. He died at a hospital.                   

Leon Banks, 31, and Lovie Matthew, 30, were booked on suspicion of murder and each was held on $1 million bail, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. 

A the third suspect, who was described as black, in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds with a slim build, was at large Thursday. His hair was styled in cornrows, and he was last seen wearing a white tank top, beige shorts and white sneakers.
