2 Arrested In Death Of Marijuana Dispensary Guard

Robbers shot and killed an unarmed security guard at this Mid-Wilshire medical marijuana dispensary.

Two men were in custody Thursday in connection with the shooting death of an unarmed security guard who was gunned down at a medical marijuana facility during an apparent robbery attempt, police said.
Noe Campos Gonzalez, 25, of Los Angeles was fatally shot about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of South La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles police Officer April Harding said. He died at a hospital.
Leon Banks, 31, and Lovie Matthew, 30, were booked on suspicion of murder and each was held on $1 million bail, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
A the third suspect, who was described as black, in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds with a slim build, was at large Thursday. His hair was styled in cornrows, and he was last seen wearing a white tank top, beige shorts and white sneakers.
