Man Shot Twice During Dispute In North Hollywood
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (CBS) ―
A 25-year-old man was shot twice shot during a dispute with two men in North Hollywood Friday according to a Los Angeles Police sergeant.
The shooting happened about 1:50 a.m. near Magnolia Boulevard and Vineland Avenue, said Sgt. Mike Kammert of LAPD's North Hollywood Station.
The victim is described as a transient who was approached by two men.
"An argument ensued and one of the men pulled a small-caliber handgun and shot the victim twice," said Kammert.
The victim was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the hip and the upper stomach, Kammert said.
Police were looking for two men involved in the shooting.
