Cops: Man Was Killed In Road Rage Shooting
LOS ANGELES
-
-
Police say a man was killed in a possible road rage incident.
Police theorize that road rage led to the shooting death early Saturday of a man in Los Angeles.
The shooting on South Broadway near 66th Street was reported around 1:50 a.m., Los Angeles police Sgt. Pete Gamino of the Newton Station said.
"Someone pissed someone off in another car," he said. "One gunshot rang out from one car to another, striking the victim and killing him."
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead, Gamino
said. His name was not released.
The victim was driving a GMC Suburban, according to an RMG News camera crew.
Police appeared to be questioning an eyewitness afterward.
