Man Crashes Car Into La Palma Home, Injures Woman
LA PALMA
A 22-year-old man crashed a car into the living room of a La Palma home today, injuring a woman.
The accident at 5771 Warwick Circle was reported at 4:20 p.m., La Palma police Sgt. Raul Morales said.
A 50-year-old woman who was sitting on a couch was injured and taken to UC Irvine Medical Center to be checked out, Morales said, adding that she was not believed to be seriously hurt.
Morales said the young man, whose name was withheld, went off a curve and crashed into the house.
Firefighters shored up a part of the roof to keep it from collapsing, he said. A structural assessment was being made, Morales said.
