Surface Streets Closed Because Of Flooding

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Several streets, mainly in the San Fernando Valley, have been closed due to flooding and excessive run-off from the rainstorm, police said.

Forest Lawn Drive between Memorial Park and the Los Angeles Zoo was closed because of excessive run-off, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jason Lee said.

According to Lee, these streets were also closed because of flooding:

  • Burbank Boulevard at Hayvenhurst Avenue
  • Victory Boulevard at Woodley Avenue
  • Woodley Avenue between Victory Boulevard and Burbank Boulevard
  • Balboa Boulevard and Victory Boulevard
  • Burbank Boulevard at Balboa Boulevard
  • Hayvenhurst Avenue at the Ventura (101) Freeway
  • Victory Boulevard at Haskell Avenue
