Death Sought In Couple Murdered At-Sea Case
LONG BEACH, Calif. (CBS) ―
Two Long Beach men were facing the death penalty for the alleged murdering a couple, who were alive when they were tied to an anchor and thrown into the ocean from a vessel they were selling, Orange County District Attorney Anthony Rackauckas said Wednesday.
Of the five people charged in the deaths of Thomas and Jackie Hawks, the death penalty would be sought against Skylar Deleon and John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
Rackauckas called them the "brain" and "braun" behind the killings.
