Man Shot To Death In Lennox

LENNOX, Calif. Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the unincorporated area of Lennox.

The shooting took place Monday afternoon in the 10200 block of Grevillea Avenue near Century Boulevard, Deputy Derrick Thompson of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said.

According to sheriff's homicide detectives, the victim was arguing with two people when one of them produced a handgun and shot him in the upper body shortly after 4:30 p.m., Thompson said. 

Oscar Orendain, 33, died at a hospital, Craig Harvey of the coroner's office said.

A description of the two suspects has not been made available.
