Cops Hunt Lancaster Man In Stabbing Death Of Wife

LANCASTER Police are on the hunt Saturday for a man they say stabbed his wife to death during a domestic altercation at their home in Lancaster.

Police say the unidentified man stabbed his wife just after 2 a.m.

Diane Hecht, a sergeant with the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau, said the murder occured in the 4100 block of West Avenue L near 40th Street West.

Paramedics declared the woman dead at the scene, Hecht said.

The deceased's husband was last seen driving away in a dark-colored vehicle, she said.
