Officials say a 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday when his bike crashed into a car in a Valencia intersection.
The man, identified as Peter Neptune of Lancaster, collided with a Honda Civic.
The crash occurred at about 8:45 a.m. at Wiley Canyon and Tournament roads, according to Sgt. Darren Harris of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's
Station.
Neptune was riding west on Wiley Canyon Road when he struck a Honda driven by Dejah Morris, 25, of Newhall, who had just made a left turn onto northbound Tournament Road, Harris said.
The impact caused the Honda to flip on its driver's side, he said.
Neptune was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Morris was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
