2 LAPD Officers Injured After Car Overturns On 118

Westbound Lanes Shut Down At Balboa Boulevard For Investigation

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (AP) ― Two Los Angeles police officers are hospitalized Monday morning after their squad car collided with another vehicle and flipped on the Ronald Reagan Freeway in the Northridge area of the San Fernando Valley.

The westbound lanes of Highway 118 at Balboa Boulevard are shut down indefinitely while an investigation continues.

The crash occurred shortly after 2 a.m. The officers were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. It appears no one else was hurt in the crash.
