Man Arrested In Deadly Karaoke Bar Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― A man was in custody Monday for allegedly shooting two other men, one fatally, outside a Koreatown karaoke bar, police said.

The shooting at M2 Cafe & Karaoke bar at 4001 W. Sixth St. occurred about 2:10 a.m. Sunday, according to Los Angeles police Sgt. Rudy Barillas of the Olympic Station.

Michael Lee, 36, of Anaheim Hills, died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being shot in the head, police said.

A 37-year-old Los Angeles man, whose name was withheld, suffered a graze wound to his head and was expected to survive.

Detectives arrested Louis Lee, 22, of Rowland Heights, police said.

Lee, who is not related to the man who was killed, was booked for murder and was being held on $1 million bail.

The men were reportedly involved in a dispute inside the bar before the shootings took place.
