Suspect In Teen's Disappearance Arrested In Fla.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (CBS) ― A suspect in the disappearance of a college student from Rancho Santa Margarita has been arrested again in Florida.

The Orange County Register reports John Burgess was arrested at a Blockbuster store in Jacksonville on September 20th for investigation of stealing DVDs.

Burgess was arrested in July in Jacksonville after police allegedly saw him trying to dispose of a bag of cocaine. He was convicted of felony possession of drugs and sentenced to time served before being extradited to Los Angeles on an outstanding warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

Burgess has been formally named as a suspect in the disappearance of San Diego State University student Donna Jou, but he has not been charged.

Jou was last seen June 23rd at a party at Burgess' West L.A. house.
