Girls Gone Wild founder/producer Joe Francis has an added legal woe: he was sued Monday for alleged sexual harassment from a former employee.
Bay County Sheriff's Office
The entertainment web site TMZ.com is reporting that "Girls Gone Wild" creator/founder Joe Francis -- already entangled in a series of legal woes -- is being sued for alleged sexual harassment.
The web site reports Tranae Hammond, a former Francis employee, is suing the embattled businessman, his companies Manta Films, Girls Gone Wild and her direct supervisor, an employee she only knows as Ron.
She alleges that she was repeatedly harassed almost immediately upon being hired and that she was inappropriately touched, massaged, that there were frequent conversations about sex in the workplace and on at least one occasion Hammond says she was allegedly "tapped on [my] buttocks with a clipboard."
Hammond's court papers allege that after she complained of the sexual behavior in the workplace, she was terminated.
Hammond did not directly accuse Francis of sexual harassment but said he oversaw "an improperly managed" workplace and, thus, held him responsible.
