Inmate Sues Orange County, Alleges Jail Brutality

SANTA ANA (AP) ― An inmate is suing Orange County, claiming jailhouse brutality by a guard who allegedly kicked and punched him with a key in his fist.
 
Blaine Bowker's federal suit against Sheriff Sandra Hutchens also alleges he and thousands of other prisoners are deprived of access to exercise, religious services and telephone access.

Bowker is facing attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and burglary charges. He says he was assaulted in March at the Men's Centsn't comment on ongoing litigation.
