The three officers were reportedly traveling west on Imperial Highway when a 2005 Nissan Frontier traveling east, driven by a 36-year-old motorist, crossed the center divider near the Orange (57) Freeway and hit the marked patrol car, according to a Brea Police Department news release.
The officers were taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries, police said.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to a hospital for treatment of back pain.
