3 Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (CBS) ― An investigation was underway Thursday into the death of three people in an apparent murder-suicide in Inglewood.

The alleged murder-suicide occurred at 610 W. Arbor Vitae St., near South Oak Street, according to Sgt. Gabriela Garcia of the Inglewood Police Department.

Around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, Inglewood emergency operators got a call from a despondent man who claimed he was going to kill his wife and daughter and then kill himself, Garcia said.

Officers were dispatched to the apartment and found three bodies, each with a single gunshot wound, she said.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel declared all three people dead at the scene, Garcia said.

The suspect has been identified as Alfredo Rocha Rodriguez. His wife, Isabel Martinez-Rodriguez, 59, and daughter Ivonne Rodriguez, 26, were also found dead, Garcia said.
