Perris Couple Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide
PERRIS, Calif. (AP) ―
Authorities say a 67-year-old man apparently shot his wife, called for medical assistance, then shot himself inside their home in northwest Riverside County.
Sheriff's investigator Jerry Franchville says Stanley Jakubowicz was found dead Monday morning with a .38-caliber revolver and at least one bullet wound.
His 67-year-old wife, Beverly Jakubowicz, also was found shot to death inside their house on Lake Mathews Drive.
There were no signs of a struggle.
Franchville says it appears Stanley Jakubowicz shot his wife and called authorities.
Deputies and firefighters arrived and found the couple dead.
An investigation into the deaths continues.
