Homeless Man Set On Fire And Burned To Death

Police say a homeless man was set ablaze and killed Thursday evening in the mid-Wilshire district.

Los Angeles police say a homeless man has died after he was set on fire.
No arrests had been made Friday.
Police officials say officers were called to the mid-Wilshire area about 9:30 p.m. Thursday and found a man who apparently had been doused with a flammable liquid -- possibly gasoline -- and set ablaze.
He was later pronounced dead.
There's no word on his identity.
Capt. Dennis Cremins says a man in his 20s was seen running from the scene.
