Homeless Man Murdered, Found On Venice Beach

The man was found Sunday by an employee from the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.

Authorities Wednesday were searching for the killer of a 25-year-old homeless man whose body was found in the sand near the Venice Boardwalk.
An employee of the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks discovered the victim near Ocean Front Walk and Breeze Avenue at 9 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators believe the man was beaten to death, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The victim's name was not released.
