A hit-and-run driver struck a man in a crosswalk on Hollywood Boulevard Saturday, leaving him with leg and back injuries, police said.
A light-colored, westbound Acura with a driver and a passenger inside struck the victim in a crosswalk near Cahuenga Boulevard about 2:40 a.m., a sergeant at the Hollywood Station said.
Witnesses told police that the male driver stopped, looked back at the victim, then accelerated away, the sergeant said.
The victim was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
"He's going to be fine," the sergeant said.
