Man Hurt In Shooting Behind Hollywood Nightclub

LOS ANGELES A gunman shot a man behind an upscale Hollywood nightclub and restaurant early Saturday morning, a police lieutenant said.

Reports of the shooting, which took place behind Ritual at 1743 Cahuenga Blvd., came in to police at about 2:40 a.m., a Los Angeles police lieutenant at the Hollywood Station said.

The condition of the victim was not immediately known, he said.

Ritual, which opened last July, was formerly known as White Lotus, a club popular to celebrities.
