A bank teller at a Washington Mutual branch in Foothill Ranch who was robbed this week has turned to art therapy to cope with his ordeal.
Authorities say hours after a man dubbed the Hobo Bandit demanded money from Nick Wildermuth and got away, Wildermuth went home and painted his portrait.
Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino says Wildermuth painted the portrait from memory.
Wildermuth submitted the portrait to a downtown Los Angeles art gallery where he shows his artwork regularly. It will go on display Saturday as part of a new exhibit.
An FBI spokeswoman says the Hobo Bandit also is suspected of robbing a Bank of America branch in Santa Ana on January 22nd.
