Lisa Sigell and a TV crew were allowed the first-ever look inside the full-of-gizmos O.R. -- and during a delicate brain operation no less.
The doctors showed how 3-D animation, high definition television monitors and flat screen TVs can aid them during complicated procedures.
It's one of the most, if not THE most, cutting edge O.R.'s anywhere.
The surgeons also work in green light. Why? To see the monitors better. When the lights were lowered too much, the medical team couldn't see the instruments. And too much white light made the HD screens harder to see...
