Alleged Armed Robber Killed In Compton Barbershop

COMPTON (AP) ― One of three armed robbers has been killed during a gunfight at a barbershop in Compton.

Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Guillermina Saldana says three men tried to rob a barbershop about 1 p.m. Friday but were met by two armed employees.

A gunfight ensued, with one of the robbers shot and killed. The other two fled, although investigators believe one of them may have been shot because there was a trail of blood.

The name of the man who was killed has not been released.

The incident is still under investigation.
