Police Investigate Alleged Abduction In Tujunga

TUJUNGA Police are investigation the possible abduction and sexual assault of a woman outside a Tujunga grocery store Sunday afternoon.

The woman was allegedly kidnapped at Foothill Boulevard and Lowell Ave., according to Los Angeles Police Office Sara Faden of the Media Relations department.

The alleged abduction was reported around 4:30 p.m.

"Detectives are speaking with the victim now regarding the incident," Faden said.

It was unclear whether a sexual assault took place.

No suspects were in custody, Faden said.
