All freeway off-ramps leading to Griffith Park are once again open Thrusday morning, as firefighters get a handle on the wildfire that has been burning in the hilly enclave since Tuesday.
Ramps off the Golden State and Ventura freeways into the park had been closed to prevent drivers from entering the fire area.
But the park itself, including the Greek Theatre, Los Angeles Zoo, Griffith Observatory and Gene Autry Museum, will remain closed to the public through Thursday.
The Griffith Park blaze burned more than 800 acres and was last reported to be 75 percent contained.
Firefighters expect to have it fully contained by Thursday night. Officials say the fire remains under investigation but appears to have been an accident.
