Authorities say a dead juvenile gray whale has washed up on an Orange County beach.
The marine mammal, estimated to be 15-feet long and 1,500 pounds, was spotted at about 3:30 p.m. Monday on Huntington Beach.
A marine biologist who inspected the carcass says the young whale likely died from natural causes.
