Teen Wounded In Granada Hills Road Rage Shooting

LOS ANGELES A young man was wounded in a car-to-car shooting in Granada Hills that was apparently triggered by road rage, police said.

The shooting happened at 10:05 p.m. in the 17200 block of Sesnon Boulevard, Los Angeles police Sgt. Bruce Vermaat said.

The victim told police the gunman was in a black Acura Integra.

The victim was headed north on Balboa Boulevard and passed a Thrift gas station when he noticed the Acura pull out and start tailgating him.

"He kind of hits his brakes, then the suspect pulls alongside and fires about five shots out of the passenger window," Vermaat said.

The approximately 18-year-old man was taken to a hospital, Vermaat said, where he should recover fully. His name was not released.
