Riverside Women Warned About Foot Fetishist
RIVERSIDE, Calif.
A man who asks women in downtown Riverside about their feet and stockings is currently at large.
"It's a nuisance at this point," said Riverside police spokesman Steven Frasher. "Invading their space, acting weird. We're not pre-supposing there are other incidents. But if there are, we want to know about them."
On May 8, two women were approached by a man that asked persistent questions about their stockings and attempted to touch their feet, Frasher said.
One woman was approached on a sidewalk on 10th Street outside the Riverside Historic Courthouse, the other in a downtown parking structure.
No other incidents have been reported, but the sheriff's court services division has issued an advisory to employees downtown, Frasher said.
The man is described as a well-dressed, light-skinned male, possibly Hispanic, about 5 feet 6 inches and 175 pounds, with spikey black hair and braces on his teeth, Frasher said.
