LAX flights departing for Chicago O'Hare International Airport and San Francisco International Airport were experiencing delays Friday because of weather conditions at those destinations, an LAX spokeswoman said.
Flights to O'Hare were experiencing average delays of four hours due to wintry conditions, including snow and ice, LAX spokeswoman Katherine Alvardo said, and those to San Francisco were subject to average delays of more than an hour due to rain and dense fog.
Travelers were advised to check with their airline to determine if their flights are delayed.
