LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Got big plans for the 4th of July? CBS 2 / KCAL 9 wants to know what you're doing to celebrate Independence Day!

- The Studio City Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the 60s! The chamber's 11th annual Fireworks Festival will celebrate 40 years of Woodstock on Saturday, July 4, at the CBS Radford lot. - 11th Annual Walnut Street block party. 55 homes on 1/4 mile block celebrate our nations founding and our freedoms. Includes furniture race, cakewalk, watermelon eating contest, basketball and badminton tournaments, home decorating contest. - 'Foxfield' in Yorba Linda would love to have you present as we celebrate the 4th of July with a big bang. - Sunny Ranch has a 4th of July parade where community members dress up, decorate their bikes, wagons, cars etc., and proceed through the streets. The streets are lined with over 500 flags and homeowners decorate their front yards. The event starts on the 4th at 10:30 a.m. and ends in the cul de sac where we enjoy lemonade and treats at around 11:30. There are contests for best decorated bikes and most patriotic for the kids. Festive music is played through the neighborhood while the parade is ongoing. Last year we had over 100 parade performers. It was a great event. I hope you can join us! Thanks, Jeff C.

- Families for Families, a non-profit organization benefiting underprivileged families in Southern California, brings the community together for a day of fun and laughter at their 1st Annual 4th of July Blues Festival. The family friendly day will be filled with live performances, delicious food, and plenty of activities for the kids. The events will be held on the outside grounds of Deja Blue Jazz, and Blues Lounge, 1809 West 88th Street (Near Western & Manchester), from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. An outdoor stage will serve as the platform for wonderful Blues Bands performing throughout the day, with Emcee Tony Stone keeping the party going between sets. The day will hold something special for everyone in the family: Kids Zone Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, and Face Painting Blues Stage Adjacent to the Miller/Coors Beer Garden Vendor Stations Local Retailers, Custom Arts & Crafts, and great food Families For Families, 501 (c)(3) was established in 1988 and serves as an advocate for families. Its mission and challenge is to focus on targeting a demographic group in our communities that if reached can largely reduce youth gang activity/involvement, domestic violence, academic failure, and improve poverty levels. - The LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with a number of sponsors, including the Neighborhood Council of Westchester/Playa, will host the 10th Annual 'Westchester on Parade'. This year's theme is 'America through the Decades.' The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Manchester and Loyola and head toward Loyola Marymount University. - Valley Village is having a 4th of July parade complete with kids, dogs, floats and music. Starts at Colfax Elementary School at Colfax and Addison at 10 AM and ends at Valley Village Park at Otsego and Westpark with refreshments. We expect at least 700 or more people. Our senior lead officer, Manny Arreygue, is Grand Marshall.

- About 10,000 of us get together each year for a great 4th of July party in La Habra. We start around 4ish and enjoy the usual bbq & music. It's at La Habra High School on Whittier Blvd and Idaho St. No need to bring fireworks, we have the big ones that light up the sky and go boom! Join us! $7 adult/$4 child

- 3rd of July... Patriot High School on Mission Blvd in Riverside.. Fireworks show. 4th of July.. Rubidoux mountain firework show in Riverside, also on Mission Blvd. ... both FREE!!! and very fun..

- We will be at the California Music Fest a celebration of California Culture: Music, Surf & Art. Partial Proceeds benefit Work Vessels for the Vets. Over 100 bands playing 10 downtown venues, Triple Crown Surf contest (paddle, shortboard, longboard) Plus a giant 7.5 ft. x 28 ft. Canvas wall painted by artists all over California and auctioned off after the festival with 50% to the artist and 50% to the Work Vessels for the Vets. More info www.camusicfest.com
