Tarzana Church Scorched By Fire

TARZANA (CBS) ― A fire broke out Friday evening at St. Mary Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East in Tarzana, according to officials.

The LAFD said the fire was extinguished in about 25 minutes.

There were no injuries.

The fire was reported at 6:35 p.m., according to Devin Gales of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
