2 Female Bandits Rob Bellflower Gas Station

BELLFLOWER, Calif. (CBS) ― Two females robbed a Bellflower gas station at gunpoint early Monday morning authorities said.

The bandits robbed the Chevron station at Lakewood Boulevard and Park Street at about 1 a.m., said Lt. Ruthie Daily of the Los Angeles County sheriff's Lakewood Station.

One of the robbers was armed with a handgun and threatened a cashier and took an one armed with a handgun, threatened a cashier, then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

She fled on foot, Daily said.

No one was injured.
