North Hollywood House Fire Claims A Life

The LAFD reports that a man was killed and a woman injured in a North Hollywood house fire.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reports that a fire in a North Hollywood home has left a man dead.
Fire damaged a rear house on a North Hollywood lot Saturday.
A woman was also injured in that blaze.
The fire at 14024 Chandler Blvd. was reported at 3:19 a.m. and declared out less than a half hour later, according to Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Robert Kilpatrick.
The unidentified man was unable to walk, according to reports from the scene, but fire officials could not immediately confirm that.
According to Newsreel, a woman was being treated in an ambulance at the scene.
