'Grandma Bandit' Wanted By FBI

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― FBI agents are looking for an elderly looking woman they've dubbed the "Grandma Bandit," who they say twice robbed a bank in Chino.

The FBI said Wednesday the woman, aged about 60, robbed a Bank of America branch once in January and once last week.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says the woman lifted her shirt to show a teller wires and a metal object, and passed a note that read, "Please help this lady, she is strapped."

Eimiller says during Friday's robbery, the woman wore a blond wig and said she was under some sort of duress.
