Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Seal Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) ― The pilot of a single engine plane has suffered minor injuries after making an emergency landing on the water off Seal Beach.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the Cessna plane was pulling a banner Friday afternoon when he made the emergency landing.

Gregor says the pilot had minor bruises and no one on the beach was hurt. Rescuers are working to pull the plane onto the sand.

Seal Beach is a coastal community south of Long Beach.
