Rescue Threatened Over DeGeneres Dog Dilemma

Ellen DeGeneres' doggie dilemma has taken a nasty turn.
The operator of the Mutts and Moms animal rescue organization says she's been deluged with threatening e-mails and phone calls. The situation got so bad, Marina Batkis says she had to close her business and stay home.
The twisted dog tale began last month when DeGeneres and her partner, Portia de Rossi, adopted a cute, black Brussels Griffon mix terrier named Iggy from the organization. When Iggy wasn't able to get along with DeGeneres' cats, the couple gave the dog to DeGeneres' hairdresser.
But Batkis says that violated the agreement de Rossi signed and she took the dog back.
DeGeneres broadcast a tearful plea Tuesday for the dog to be returned to her hairdresser, but Batkis refuses to back down.
