Guns N' Roses Drummer Pleads Not Guilty To Drugs

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler pleaded not guilty Wednesday to drug-related charges stemming from his July 18 arrest in Hollywood.

Adler, 43, is charged with one felony count of possession of heroin and
one misdemeanor count of being under the influence of an opiate.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Bianco ordered Adler, who is free on $10,000 bail, to remain in a Pasadena drug program, according to defense attorney Barry Gerald Sands.

"He's doing one day at a time," Sands said.

Adler is due back at the downtown Los Angeles courthouse next month.
