4 Hurt In South L.A. Drive-By Shooting

LOS ANGELES Four men were hurt in a South Los Angeles drive-by shooting, police said.

The incident took place at 4725 S. Hoover St., near 47th Street, about 12:55 a.m., said a sergeant at the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Street Station.

The men were standing in front of the Caribbean Market when shots were fired from a passing vehicle, the sergeant said. They were transported to nearby hospitals with unknown injuries, he said.

No information about the assailants has been made available.
