Doc Accused Of Sex Crimes Son Of Bermuda's Premier
The Doc's Wife Says Her Husband Is Innocent
LOS ANGELES (AP) ―
The son of the Bermudan premier is charged with molesting eight patients, one of them a teenager.
But Dr. Kevin Antario Brown's wife says he's innocent, and points to his charity work as proof of his good nature.
Chanel Brown says the accused doctor is also an excellent husband and father.
Brown was arrested July 8th, and has been charged with 19 felony counts, including a lewd act on a 15-year-old child, rape, sexual battery by fraud and sexual exploitation.
Bail has set at $4 million after prosecutors argued Brown was a flight risk to Bermuda, where his father is the government's leader.
Brown's arraignment is set for August 7th in Los Angeles County Superior Court. If convicted on all counts, he faces up to 27 years in prison.
