$175,000 Worth Of Diamonds Stolen From O.C. Car
BREA, Calif. (AP) ―
Police are looking for the men who stole at least $175,000 worth of loose diamonds from a parked car in Orange County.
Brea police Sgt. Bill Smyser said Wednesday that the diamonds' owner reported he had left the zippered bag on the seat of his 1999 Toyota sedan. The man told officers he had the gems for work reasons but wouldn't elaborate.
A witness told investigators that three men in a black Infiniti drove up Monday morning, smashed the Toyota's window and snatched the bag.
