Actor Dennis Quaid testified on Capitol Hill Wednesday about suing a drug manufacturer over their labeling of Heparin which he blames for a near fatal dosage given to his newborn twins at Cedars-Sinai.
Quaid, fighting back tears, talked about how his children had to fight for life.
Quaid said in the past he was against our sue-happy society and didn't understand why so many frivilous lawsuits were filed. Today, he said that there was nothing frivilous about his children being victimized by what he called mistakes in labeling that caused not only his children to almost die...but several kids to also receive fatal doses across the United States.
