Coroner Seeks Family Of Dead Woman, 83
RIVERSIDE (CBS) ―
The San Bernardino County Coroner's office is looking for the family of an 83-year-old Desert Hot Springs woman who was found dead earlier this week near Needles Highway.
Patricia Thelma McCombs' body was found about 3:30 p.m. Monday in a field about 30 feet from her vehicle near River Road and Soto Ranch Road, north of Needles, according to the coroner.
Officials believe McCombs may have abandoned her vehicle to seek help at a nearby casino and collapsed.
The death investigation continues as authorities sought her relatives, said Deputy Coroner Gabriel Morales.
