Inglewood Man Becomes Nationally Renowned Artist

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Inglewood native, Dale Mathis, survived the ugly side of life as a child: gangs, drugs, and violence.

Now he's creating beauty through art.

Rising above his rough start in life to become a nationally reknown artist. Mathis calls his style, "surrealism meets mechanicalism. A merging of old and new, industrial and civilized. Where machines are muses."
