LA Heats Up With Unconventional Erotica Convention

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― If you noticed it getting a little hotter this weekend, you're not alone. No doubt the heat coming from the Convention Center had something to do with it.

This weekend, the Convention Center was the site of the 12th annual L.A. Erotica Convention which celebrates the best in porn, erotica, merchandise and some gizmos, frankly, we can neither discuss nor describe on a family friendly web site.

Still, porn is a multi-billion (with a b) business and one of the few that seem to be booming in this economy.

CBS2.com and KCAL9.com web producers Erik Oginski and Alan Carter, along with photographer Su-e Tan attended, along with KCAL 9 and CBS 2 Entertainment reporter Christina McLarty.

Hey, we said porn was big business, and it took a lot of dedicated professionals to cover it.

The three-day event kicked off Friday with appearances by such porn superstars as Stormy Daniels, Tera Patrick, Belladonna, Lexington Steele, Jack Lawrence, Taylor Wane, Tommy Gunn, Gianna Lynn and the girls of Wicked. We also enjoyed meeting adorable porn couple Faye Reagan and Dane Cross. She loves that he "cleans the litter box." [We assume they have a cat.]

We also happily ran into Michelle Manhart, featured in the Painted Pin-Up Calendar we recently featured.
