Firefighters were able to contain the fire, but it partially collapsed the roof (file).
A man was displaced Monday night after a chimney fire tore through his attic and partially collapsed the roof of his Glen Avon home, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to a report of a chimney fire in a single family home at 4744 Valley Forge Drive at 7:48 p.m. Monday, according to Jody Hagemann of Cal Fire.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire, which was under investigation, by 8:11 p.m.
No one was injured in the blaze.
