Toddler, 2, Nearly Drowns In Moreno Valley Pool

MORENO VALLEY A 2-year-old child who nearly drowned in a swimming pool at a Moreno Valley apartment complex was taken to a hospital, a fire official said Friday.

The accident occurred about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lasselle Place Apartments, 15800 Lasselle St., Massiel Ladron De Guevara of the Riverside Fire Department said.
 
The toddler was transported by ambulance.

The incident was under investigation, De Guevara said.
