1 Killed, 2 Injured In Carson Shooting
CARSON, Calif. (CBS) ―
Three men were shot in Carson, one fatally, Monday night, authorities said.
The shooting occurred just after 7 p.m. in the 400 block of East 229th Street, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Frank La Piana said.
The three victims were taken to a hospital, where one was pronounced dead, La Piana said. The condition of the other two men was not immediately known, he said.
Sheriff's homicide detectives were sent to the scene Tuesday morning to investigate, he said.
Details of the shooting were not immediately released.
