1 Hurt, 2 Arrested After Pursuit Crashes In Carson

CARSON, Calif. A police pursuit ended in a crash at a busy Carson intersection Saturday, sending one person to the hospital and two others into handcuffs.

The pursuit began after sheriff's deputies saw a vehicle matching the description given in a "shots fired" call reported at 12:55 p.m. The short pursuit ended at the intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Main Street.

The intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Main Street was closed, as well as an area within several blocks in each direction.

The driver of the car was taken to a hospital with injuries, and two passengers fled, Stover said. Those two were taken into custody shortly after the perimeter was set up.
