Man, 19, Arrested In Double Stabbing, Robbery

HOME GARDENS (CBS) ― A 19-year-man was in custody Thursday for allegedly stabbing two people during a robbery at a business in Home Gardens, a sheriff's sergeant said.

 

Cameron Gomez was arrested just after 12 a.m. on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery, sheriff's Sgt. Andy Stonebreaker said.

 

Gomez allegedly used a knife to rob two people – one of whom was hospitalized with "significant" injuries – at a business in the 12700 block of Magnolia Avenue, Stonebreaker said.

 

The victims were hospitalized in stable condition and Gomez was being held on $1 million bail.
